In an exclusive interview, Aparshakti Khurana hinted at the possibility of Jubilee 2 and whether fans can expect the return of Madan Kumar.
Aparshakti Khurrana has been riding high on the success of Stree 2, which has crossed an incredible ₹600 crore at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
During a chat with Koimoi, Aparshakti revealed exciting details about his future projects, including a potential comedy collaboration with his brother, Ayushmann Khurrana.
While this much-anticipated brother duo project is still in the early stages and may take time to materialize, rumors have it that Aparshakti might appear in Ayushmann’s upcoming film as Bittu.
The project, tentatively titled Vampires of Vijaynagar, could see Aparshakti entering the horror-comedy universe alongside his brother, who is set to join the franchise. However, nothing has been officially confirmed about his role just yet.
What has fans buzzing, though, is Aparshakti’s revelation about another much-loved character returning to the screen. He dropped a major hint regarding the sequel to the hit web series Jubilee, where he portrayed the beloved character of Madan Kumar.
Is Jubilee 2 in the Works?
When asked about his upcoming projects, Aparshakti shared an exciting update on Jubilee 2. He confirmed, “Likha to jaa raha hai. Lekin baaki cheezein ab Vikram Sir par hain.
But haan, likha to jaa raha hai,” suggesting that while the script is being written, the final call rests with director Vikramaditya Motwane.
Jubilee, one of the most acclaimed and awarded web series of 2023, took viewers back to the partition-era Hindi cinema.
The series, featuring Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aditi Rao Hydari, and others, became a fan favorite for its poetic portrayal of the golden age of Bollywood. With this latest update, fans have even more reason to be excited about a potential sequel.
